Salamander metal print by Ian Herriott. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

This is my interpretation, in the celtic style, of a Salamander, which was a being or spirit associated with the classical element of Fire.
This piece is meant to be displayed in a diamond orientation, rotated 45 degrees clockwise.
About Ian Herriott
My art is inspired, and strongly influenced by, the work of the Irish illuminators who created the spectacular art in the "Book of Kells" and other manuscripts. While I strive to re-create the look and feel of those earlier works, I allow myself to explore subject matter which was foreign to those artists. The combination of old and new continues to hold my interest. I enjoy the process of experimentation and creation, and I hope that you enjoy the results.
